We summon the futures.

To play with them now.
summ( )n
We all know that the world is very complex.

We believe that it becomes even more complex - especially if we mean social developments.

To prepare ourselves for this ever increasing complexity, we need to make very special efforts.

We need to question current status-quo, the existing order of things and our view about it.

We need to collectively imagine new possibilities - not only new technologies but also new social and cultural realities, the 'new futures'. We also need to create the new 'us'.

About our company
Summ( )n is a partnership of experienced and passionate practitioners that helps to those who creates 'the new'.

This 'new' may mean different things for different people: some want to develop new products, others are working on a new service. Some are building a new brand, others are in search of a new business strategy.

We help our clients by combining three interconnected practices:
Understanding people, Exploring future, and Transforming Minds.

Understanding People
We help to better understand people of today — what, how and why they do things, and how these activities unfold in the real life contexts. This is not only about research — we enable co-research and meaningful encounters that also bring higher empathy.
Exploring Futures
We also help in exploring futures — the futures of industries and markets, of cultures and societies, and the futures of your own enterprise. We don't tell about the 'latest trends', instead we help our clients to sense the future signals themselves, to make sense of these signals together with us, and to probe the future directions with tangible concepts.
Transforming Mindsets
By doing so, we create opportunities to experience these futures, to play with them in realistic yet risk-free way (well, almost risk-free). It helps our clients to transform mindsets — their own but also their partners and clients — and better prepare for the challenging tomorrows.
We combine all these skills into unique projects.
Every project, we call them Quests for the Futures,
is co-created with a clients and all the participants.
